A mysterious new Sony phone has appeared in the media today and so far it is only known as the Sony Xperia Z1S. The names that these phones have are certainly not very creative, but either way that's all we got on the official name so far. Anyway, it is unknown what this phone is exactly and what its purpose on the market is. Some are saying that this is the long-awaited mini Z1, while others think that this is just a LTE (4G) version of the current flagship device. Anyway, before we continue, have a look at the press photo of the Z1S!

Sony Xperia T - the Bond Phone!
Smartphone
users, especially those in the United Kingdom, have something to smile about
now that the O2 network has recently made the Sony Xperia T smartphone
available. The Sony Xperia T smartphone, which has been branded after the
mysterious and elusive James Bond, is worth considering if you are in the
market for a new smartphone tariff and deal.

There had
been rumors circulating for some time that the O2 network would be giving their
consumers a 007 Xperia T smartphone though the exact date when it would begin appearing
on the online store had not been confirmed until now. The Sony Xperia T
smartphone is now being referred to as “the Bond Phone.”
Some people may think that it is a little odd that the one
of UK’s most popular spy opted to use this particular model in the recent
Skyfall film rather than a classier, more stylish phone such as a newer
generation iOS device like the iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 or even the Galaxy S III.
However, it would stand to reason that the Sony Xperia T smartphone would suit the man of mystery far
better than others since the black aesthetics of the phone fit Bond’s persona.
What is the Xperia T Bond Phone about?
The Sony
Xperia T smartphone has exactly the same specifications found on a typical
Xperia T smartphone. The main difference however is that “the Bond Phone”
contains Skyfall content that is found exclusively on the handset. In addition,
the phone comes with an exclusive 007 ringtone, which is preloaded onto the
handset as well as James Bond screensavers and themes.
Official
photographs taken from the set of the new James Bond movie Skyfall, which are
tagged with geo information to let the customer know exactly where the image
was taken, can also be found on the phone. For the gamers, the 007 Legends
video game will be available to them at no cost under specific circumstances.
Users will be able to pick the Sony Xperia T smartphone for £36 per month on a 2-year On
& On tariff with no primary outlay. The tariff offers great deals that
include unlimited calling minutes and text messaging as well as a data package
of 1GB for your browsing needs.

The Sony Xperia T - the Official Bond Phone
It is time for Sony to roll out the Sony Xperia T, its flagship phone and they are going to do this with one hell of a bang. The upcoming movie Skyfall will feature the Xperia T which will be carried by James Bond himself and today we got the official “the Bond phone has arrived" commercial. It features an action packed scene and doesn't give out too much information about the phone itself. This is of course a standard marketing tactic as they just want to intrigue the viewers, not give them a boring lists of specs. Here is the official Bond Phone commercial (and please don't try any of these stunts on your own):
{ Allow us to remind you that our official Sony Xperia T review is still in the making but you can watch the unboxing video. Also, a quick reminder, the Xperia T features:
- A 1.5 GHz dual-core processor
- 1 GB of RAM
- 13-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
- Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich (Update for Jelly Bean will be possible)
- Adreno 225 GPU
- Full Xperia T specifications }

Sony Xperia T release date - by the end of September?
While the Sony Xperia T has been presented some time ago, the release date is still a troublesome issue and not too many people are sure when we will be seeing the Sony Xperia T release date popup on the official web pages. Still, enthusiasts and journalists are actively looking into researching all the details about the Sony Xperia T and it seems that there are some good news to report. Those of you who have been anxiously sitting at your computer hopping for the Xperia T release date might see the the device on shelves a lot sooner than some people originally thought. You can be sure that we will do a full Sony Xperia T Review once the device hits the stores!
You see, the latest news on the wire are that we can expect the Xperia T by September the 29th. This statement is attributed to a spokesperson from Expansys, however this is nothing official. For those who are interested in the Xperia J model you should know that the model is expected to be ready by mid-October which isn't such a long wait from now. Enough time to save up on a bit of money and get ready for an upgrade!
Recently Sony's PR stated: “We are still on track to deliver the Sony Xperia T before the end of the month.”
While this does sound great, many people are being skeptical as if this is just a sign that something is wrong with the production line and Sony noticed that we are onto them! Some news sources are saying that the Sony Xperia T will not hit the stores before January and that there are many problems with the tariff systems and contracts between Sony and the carriers. Those who preorder the phone and buy it first will also be the last ones to get it thanks to the system by which things work nowadays. Sad, isn't it?
The carriers are still unknown but it believed that we will see O3, Orange and Three to be the first ones to get the brand new Xperia T in their offers. Local retailers who will be getting the VIP release of the Xperia T are Phones4U and Carphone and these are the places you can look to go to if you want the Xperia T off contract.

Sony Xperia T - the high-end phone
IFA has
come and gone, and many new phones have been unveiled there. Among many others,
Sony has unveiled 3 new smartphones and each of them is designed for a certain
price range and for a certain category : Sony Xperia V, Sony Xperia J and Sony
Xperia T. Sony Xperia T is the high-end device and the company flagship for the season. It offers a great deal of
features, applications and it has great specifications.
As for CPU,
Sony Xperia T has 1.5 GHz dual core processor (the same processor that HTC One
X and the Galaxy S3 have), which grants extremely fast performance.
It has a
great, Sony quality, 13 MP camera which has an Exmor R sensor with full 1080p
HD video recording. It also comes with a 1.3 MP front-facing camera.
Xperia T
has 4.6’’ display, along with HD 1280x720 resolution and 16,777,216 colour TFT. It has 16
GB of intern memory and, of course, a slot for microSD card.
It comes
with MHL connectivity and, thanks to 1850 mAh battery, the high performance
does not drain the battery quite easily.
Specifications
look great, don’t they? Camera sounds most awesome, but processor could be
better. Perhaps some time soon, it will be.
As for
software, Xperia T comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, even though that
some devices, like Samsung Galaxy Note 2, will have Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
But, Sony promises OS upgrade to Jelly Bean quite soon after the phone is
released. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait months on it.
As for
apps, Xperia T has quite a few great apps : “Albums”, “Movies”, “Walkman”… and
some standard ones like “Google Play™”, “Google Maps” and others … It also has PlayNow™
service, TrackID™ music recognition and xLoud™ Experience.
Sony Xperia
T comes in three colors – black, silver and white. Sony has announced a Sony
Xperia TX which will have the same specifications, but a dual core S3
processor. This cellphone will, however, be available only in pink color and
will not be available in all markets.
Sony Xperia T – What does this cell phone have to offer?

great camera offers you an absolute HD experience – catch every detail of those
moments. It has a 13 MP camera and full 1080p video recording. It is the latest model in connectivity, and
it has a slim arc design. Another good thing is that camera goes from sleep to
snap in mere second.
Multimedia
Xperia

photos or videos, to re-play videos etc… Its zoom options are also great, and
its 4.6’’ touch screen and Mobile BRAVIA® Engine make the experience even
better.

downloaded. You can also use it to watch the movies in 1080p HD quality,
guaranteeing the greatest movie experience.
You
can play your recorded videos to your friends on HDTV, either without cords
using Screen Mirroring (an Adapter for TV will be necessary though) or via a
HDMI cable.
Sharing
photos, videos and everything else with this phone is extremely easy. Hold the
phone next to your friends’ and sharing begins. Emails, messages and everything
else will, perhaps quite soon, be absolutely unnecessary.
